YEARBOOKKKKKK~

Similar to my joining the soccer, team, I wanted to take the opportunity this year to join Yearbook.

This was something that I wanted to do for a while now, but I was always too intimidated and felt that I didn't have the time to do it. This year, however, I knew that I had to seize the moment or else I wouldn't have an opportunity to anymore. After just toying with the website and beginning to organize the yearbook, I realized just how much I liked it. I especially liked (and excelled at, I think) the design aspect of yearbook. Formatting the layout, organizing the color schemes, etc., were all things that I enjoyed doing, which meant spending a lot of time on it at home.

In the photo slideshow above, I included all of the spreads that I designed (mostly by myself, but I had a little help for the underclassmen page). Because of the work that I did early on in the year, I also helped establish the color scheme: PASTELLLLSSSS~~~ I also tried to incorporate the theme into the yearbook as much as possible: hence, the "Here's To..." transition pages.

One issue that the yearbook committee has been having for a while now, though, is meeting the deadlines––not surprisingly. I really hope that we can get all of the pages in on time, because if not, we won't be getting our yearbook on time either. Well, I guess we'll see!!
