Lady Sting's Last Game of the Season
Today marks the last day of the 2017 softball season :((
We went against John Bowne, a team that we believe is similar to our own in terms of energy and skill level. It was a close and fierce competition, but in my opinion, it was a good loss: 7 to 9.
The thing that I am going to miss most about this softball team are the seniors that are graduating this year. Them, and a few others who graduated last year, are the ones who really helped to make me feel like a part of the team. I already know that next year will be different (even though I hope that Jennifer and I can help to bring the team closer together in the future). Either way, I am really going to miss everyone that is leaving this year.
I told myself that I wasn't going to cry, but I ended up shedding a lot of tears as I hugged the soon-to-be alumni goodbye.
