PLAYOFFS!!!
BSGE vs. Frank Sinatra
First off, I would like to say that BSGE defeated all odds and ended up as the #2 seed in the B league for playoffs this year. We were all honestly dumbfounded because there are a few other teams that have a much better record than we do this year, but WE STILL MADE IT!! Virge told us that it's probably because we've made it to the playoffs for many consecutive years––which the other teams have not done.
Today, we played Frank Sinatra, which was kind of exhilarating because of our ongoing rivalry with them in basketball. Since I've been on the team, I don't believe we've really played them in softball, so this game gave us the opportunity to show our skills. We won!!!!! However, even though we were victorious, we definitely did not play to our best ability today. Skill-wise, I think that we are better than them, but we made a lot of dumb mistakes today. Either way, it was still a fun game (and we finally beat them in something!). Many people came to support us today, and I think that it's because this was a playoff game and our opponent was Sinatra. Usually, not many people come to support us, so it was nice to finally have an audience to play for though. I just wish we could've done a little better than we did.
